HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The City of Rocklin welcomes your interest and involvement in the City's legislative process. The City Council has established a procedure for addressing the Council. Persons wishing to address the City Council are asked to voluntarily complete and submit a speaker identification sheet to the City Clerk. Speaker identification sheets are available near the entrance of the Council Chambers. For items listed on the agenda, any person may address the City Council at the time the item is considered. Speakers are requested to restrict their comments to the item as it appears on the agenda and stay within the required five minute time limit. The Brown Act does not permit the City Council to take action on items brought up under Citizens Addressing the City Council.

WRITINGS RECEIVED AFTER AGENDA POSTING

Any writing or documents related to an agenda item for this meeting provided to the City Council, Public Financing Authority or Successor Agency will be made available for public inspection at City Hall, 3970 Rocklin Road, Rocklin, during normal business hours.

Recommendation:

Approve the Minutes of the March 26, 2024 Regular Meeting of the City Council.

 
2B.

Various Personnel Updates

 
Recommendation:
  1. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Approving Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Amendment No. 3.
  2. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin to Approve a Side Letter of Agreement to the Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of Rocklin and the Rocklin Police Officers’ Association.
  3. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin to Adopt a Revised Management Salary Schedule.

Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2023/24 Budget and the 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Amending the FY 2023/24 Budget and the 2024–2028 Capital Improvement Program.

Fire Station No. 24 & Fire Station No. 25 Security Notice of Completion

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as Fire Station No. 24 & Fire Station No. 25 Security, Approving the Notice of Completion Thereof, and Authorizing and Directing the Execution and Recordation of Said Notice on Behalf of the City (Swierstok Enterprise Inc. DBA Pro Builders).

 College Park Fire Fuel Load Management Notice of Completion 

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as College Park Fire Fuel Load Management, Approving the Notice of Completion Thereof, and Authorizing and Directing the Execution and Recordation of Said Notice on Behalf of the City (Tree Pro Tree Service, Inc.).

Vacant Property Weed Abatement

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Declaring Conditions at Locations within the City of Rocklin to be a Public Nuisance, Ordering Weed Abatement of Same, and Setting the Date and Time for a Protest Hearing.

Local Vendor Goods and Supplies

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Approving and Authorizing the City Manager to Issue Purchase Orders for the Procurement of Goods and Supplies from Normac.

Proclamation Declaring April 14-20, 2024 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

 
Recommendation:

Approve a Proclamation declaring April 14-20, 2024 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and to designate the Mayor to sign the Proclamation on behalf of the City Council.

Public Hearings may be reordered by the Mayor with the consent of the legislative body.

Approval of the Draft South Placer County District Transportation Expenditure Plan

 
Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Approving the Draft South Placer County District Transportation Expenditure Plan for the Proposed Transportation Improvement Plan and Retail Transactions and Use Tax Ordinance and Approving a Notice of Exemption.
